1. Who We Are

Server Side Academy is operated by Simon O'Connor, a sole trader based in Ireland. References to "we", "us", or "our" throughout these terms refer to Simon O'Connor trading as Server Side Academy.

2. The Product

Mastering APIs With Python is a digital book consisting of 30 chapters of technical educational content, delivered as a web-based course accessible at serversideacademy.com. Purchase grants you lifetime access to the content for personal, non-commercial use.

The product is a digital good. Delivery is immediate upon successful payment — you will receive a magic link by email granting access to all 30 chapters.

3. Pricing and Payment

The current price is €35 (inclusive of any applicable VAT). Prices are displayed in euros. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Changes do not affect purchases already made.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the product for any reason within 30 days of purchase, email us at simon@serversideacademy.com and we will issue a full refund. No questions asked.

Refunds are processed via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Under EU consumer law, you have the right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days. By accessing the content immediately after purchase, you acknowledge that delivery has begun and waive this right. Our 30-day guarantee provides broader protection than this statutory right.

5. Licence and Acceptable Use

Purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the content for your own learning. You may not:

• Share your login credentials with others
• Reproduce, copy, or distribute the content (in whole or in part) without written permission
• Resell or sublicense access to any third party
• Use the content to create competing products

6. Intellectual Property

All content, code examples, diagrams, and materials on this site are the intellectual property of Simon O'Connor unless otherwise stated. The code examples in the book are provided for educational purposes and may be used freely in your own projects.

7. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the content accessible at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to update, improve, or modify the content at any time. Material updates will not reduce the value or scope of what you purchased.

8. Limitation of Liability

The content is provided for educational purposes. We make no guarantee that completing the course will result in employment or any specific outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, our liability for any claim arising from use of this product is limited to the amount you paid for it.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
